Artist Statement

About my art projects with and in nature

An inclusion of contemporary human practices and materials, such as plastics, is what I cannot ignore when I look at homo anthropocenes increasing role in nature and how to correlate this in my nature art projects.

My work shows in various ways how humans approach, relate and act as part of the ecosystem. The results entail minor to major disturbances (bigBONSAI/ Out of Paradise? / mensch: MISTLETOE), acknowledgements of prize worthy coexistence between man and nature (PLUG/ BIOGRAM Etang D'Athis) as well as interwoven contradictions (PARADISEsupreme/ SUNNY SIDE-UP).
